Hemp vs Soy: Value Chart

American farmers are steadily embracing hemp as an alternative crop for soy. With the passage of the U.S. Farm Bill, let's take a moment to compare the crop values of soy vs. hemp.

"Average costs per acre for soybean ranged from $168 to $204 and average cost per bushel ranged from $3.30 to $4.19. Average returns per acre ranged from $62 to $194." Farm Doc Daily

High CBD cured hemp flowers should bring about $25 to $35 per pound. At one pound per plant and up to 2,500 plants per acre, that's around $60,000 per acre.
